The Canon PIXMA G4270 is a simple-to-use color printer designed to print standard documents, photos, envelopes, labels, and other media. In a compact form factor intended for the home or small office, this all-in-one PIXMA model features print, scan, copy, and fax functions. The setup process is easy as well, streamlined to get you up and running in just a few minutes. The print resolution is 4800 x 1200 dpi, and the print speed is approximately 11 ipm for monochrome prints and 6 ipm for color prints. A rear paper tray holds 100 sheets of up to 8.5 x 14-inch legal size paper, or 20 sheets of 4 x 6-inch photo paper. Whether using plain paper or other media, you can produce borderless prints, such as photos and marketing material, in up to 8.5 x 11-inch letter size. The included ink bottle set will produce approximately 6000 black-and-white or 7700 color pages in default mode. In economy mode, the output increases to about 7600 black-and-white or 8100 color pages. For scanning and copying, you can use the single-sheet flatbed or the convenient 35-sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). The ADF lets you copy multi-page documents with ease. For connectivity, this printer offers built-in Wi-Fi and USB interfaces, allowing a wireless workflow or a direct-to-computer connection. Over Wi-Fi, you can trigger print commands from a mobile device using Canon PRINT, Apple AirPrint, or Mopria mobile print apps/services. You can print documents or photos directly from your smartphone or tablet. Multi-page copying (up to 99 pages), 4-on-1 / 2-on-1, borderless, fit-to-page, frame erase (flatbed only), ID card copy, auto exposure copy, photo copy, preset ratios, 25 - 400% reduction/zoom, collated copy (ADF only), 3.2 ipm approximate copy speed when using the flatbed or 1.8 ipm via the ADF. Answering machine connectivity, caller rejection, check RX fax information, dial search, fax reception reject, fax number re-entry, memory transmission, redial, remote reception, 3-seconds per page transmission speed for black-and-white documents or 60 seconds per page for color documents. The compatible GI-21 ink bottles (included) feature a keyed nozzle design that indicates which color to match to which ink tank in the printer. Auto power on/off, quiet mode, wireless direct connection, wireless connect button, Automatic Replenishment System (ARS) capable.
